Search Pulaski County Court Dockets

Pulaski Circuit Court and Pulaski Superior Court share one clerk in Winamac but receive different kinds of cases, so court identifiers matter in Pulaski County, Indiana. Begin with the statewide public system for a public case summary, parties, events, settings, and selected documents. Older filing, current balance, official copy, or certified record missing from the online view? Move to the Clerk of Courts. The trial courts keep the dated case history through that unified clerk, and a Pulaski County court docket search that reads the identifier first lands in the right court.

Pulaski MyCase Fields That Narrow a Search

MyCase gives you several ways to slice a search. The Case tab takes a case number, citation number, or cross reference. The Name tab splits people from businesses, and the Attorney tab works with a name or bar number. Spelling trouble? A trailing wildcard and a sounds-like option help, though either can pull extra matches. Adding a birth date to a last name narrows a person search. That date stays out of public display.

ControlUsePulaski check

NameLast name first, with first, middle, and date limits as neededCompare role, filing date, and court
BusinessOrganization field, separate from a person's nameTry the formal entity name

Two quirks throw people off. MyCase caps any result set at 1,000 and may show captcha after repeated searches. Neither means a case is missing or sealed.

Inside a Pulaski County Court Docket

Open a Pulaski County case and you get a public summary built on a header plus the Chronological Case Summary, called the CCS. Think of the CCS as a timeline, not a full evidence file. One entry can record that an order was entered even when no image of that order is available remotely.

Case numberCourt identifier, filing year and month, case-type code, and sequence.
PartiesPublic person or organization labels and attorneys, subject to redaction.
CCS eventsFilings, notices, hearings, continuances, orders, judgments, and other dated activity.
SettingsDate, time, location, and event type when public; confirm the newest entry.
DispositionDismissal, judgment, conviction, acquittal, transfer, default, or another entered result.
Documents and moneySelected public files and financial data that may be incomplete or delayed.

A closed label answers little by itself. It does not spell out every judgment, satisfaction, appeal, or balance. When the distinction matters, read the latest order and ask the Clerk.

Odyssey Arrived in Pulaski in 2020

Pulaski Circuit and Superior courts both went live in Odyssey on March 16, 2020. Current MyCase court data carries the identifiers 66C01 and 66D01. The old Pulaski County Court prefix 66E01 is abolished. It still serves as a clue in converted or archived history.

The Indiana Odyssey court list documents these identifiers along with each court's go-live history. Be careful reading converted events. They may be older information. It was carried over from a prior system rather than something newly filed. Old paper may still need Clerk review. An Odyssey entry does not promise a digital image.

Courts That Keep Dockets in Pulaski County

Pulaski County runs two trial courts, Circuit and Superior. Both hold general jurisdiction under local allocation rules. One elected Pulaski County Clerk keeps the records for both. No current municipal court for Winamac, Francesville, Medaryville, or Monterey appears in the official court directory or the live MyCase dropdown.

Two Pulaski Courtrooms, One Record Route

For a hearing visit, note the room. The Circuit Court's official county page lists Justice Center Room 225. Superior Court sits on the second floor. Wherever you go, the elected Clerk stays the single keeper of both courts' files.

The official Circuit Court page shows the local court contact panel.

Treat the Circuit page as that court's operational source, not a separate public case database.

The Superior Court page describes its general jurisdiction and local location.

Pulaski Superior Court official information page

The Superior page puts its workload at about 3,000 cases each year. That figure is not broken into docket categories.

How to Find Court Dates and Settings

For a court date, open the matching MyCase summary. Find the newest setting or event. Check the date, time, location, judge, and hearing type. A later reset or continuance always controls over an earlier date. Indiana Administrative Rule 9 requires an electronic or other daily-calendar route unless access is limited, and Pulaski offers no separate date-only portal.

Need a live confirmation? Call the right court administrator or the Clerk. Circuit publishes 574-946-3858 and Superior publishes 574-946-3371. For traffic, the printed appearance information on a citation is the first check. Indiana Court Streams is a video selector, not a schedule database. The Pulaski County court-date details lay out the full confirmation route.

The Pulaski Courthouse Renovation Milestone

Pulaski County's courthouse renovation and Justice Center work, running 2023 through 2025, changes how a visitor confirms the courthouse-versus-Justice-Center route. It created no new case portal and no second Clerk. A September 2025 ribbon-cutting marked the courthouse project milestone.

The county renovation page supplies the official project context.

Confirm your room before any in-person record request or hearing. Older directions may point to a different building route.

Public Access to Court Dockets

Indiana presumes its court records are accessible. Rules protecting privacy, safety, sealed material, and confidential case types still apply, and remote access is narrower than courthouse access for some documents. Juvenile, mental-health, treatment, adoption, protection-order, expungement, and protected family content may be limited or absent.

Key rules:

Access to Court Records Rule 4 identifies accessible court records and the indication of exclusions.

Access to Court Records Rule 5 lists entirely excluded categories.

Administrative Rule 9 governs remote access and daily docket availability.

Indiana Code 5-14-3-3 provides the public-agency inspection and copying framework, subject to lawful limits.

Rule 9 extraordinary access is a verified, court-directed process. It never authorizes bypassing captcha, party credentials, or a seal.

MyCase Is a Pulaski Public Layer, Not the Official File

MyCase can display public parties, events, settings, orders, and selected documents for Pulaski cases. Its own help page warns of omissions and delayed financial information. The access matrix varies by case type. Something can be absent online for a reason. The cause could be confidentiality, exclusion, a seal, age, no digitization, or in-person-only availability.

The Indiana Judicial Branch Pulaski page links the official local rules, MyCase, e-filing, and statistics.

Docket Records at the Clerk's Office

The Pulaski County Clerk of Courts keeps the court docket records. Those cover both Circuit and Superior court. The office holds criminal, civil, juvenile, adoption, estates, guardianships, small claims, infractions, protective orders, judgments, and orders. It also maintains the judgment docket. The office issues certified copies, handles court money, and runs jury functions. Visitors can come in from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Eastern, Monday through Friday.

One caution on contact details. The state directory prints a different street number and fax than county material. Confirm those before you mail or fax anything. The county publishes no turnaround time for court copies and no certified-copy total. The Clerk source shows its contact panel, MyCase link, and PayGov route.

Pulaski Docket Copy Fees and Request Channels

Copying a Pulaski County court docket costs money. The rates are set by ordinance. A legal or letter court-record page runs $1.00. A partially written page counts the same. The county's general rates, $0.10 for black-and-white and $0.25 for color, do not control here; the special court-page rate does. A compact disc is $1.00. Packaging or shipping runs at actual cost. State clerk material adds $1.00 for a certificate under seal. It also adds $3.00 for a judgment transcript to lien. Ask the Clerk to confirm your total before paying.

Federal Pulaski Cases Go to South Bend

Federal cases that arise in Pulaski County go to the Northern District of Indiana's South Bend Division. They never appear in Indiana MyCase. For a federal docket search, PACER is the official electronic channel. CM/ECF stays limited to authorized filers. The official PACER pricing page explains current federal access fees and waivers.

PACER has already announced a rate change for 2027. Check current pricing whenever you run a federal search.

The Pulaski County Hub Connects Record Channels

The Pulaski County government homepage gathers links to court departments, forms, notices, and public-record routes. It helps you confirm which office page is current. It does not replace MyCase, though, and it hosts no separate Pulaski docket database. The official Pulaski County hub collects those government links.

Let the hub point you to the Clerk or a court department. The office that keeps the record can give the official answer.

Pulaski County Court Dockets by City

The controlling 2025 state estimates list four incorporated towns in Pulaski County. None of them has a current municipal court. Instead, residents search county MyCase for a court docket, tell Circuit from Superior by the cause number, and turn to the unified Clerk or the relevant court administrator to confirm.

Pulaski Docket Terms in Plain Language

Local terms label different pieces of the court record. The Chronological Case Summary is the event-by-event register. It is closest to what most people call a docket sheet. A case summary is the MyCase public view of the header, parties, CCS events, settings, and available documents. The judgment docket is a Clerk-maintained record of judgments and orders. It is not just a printout of a browser result.

Cause number: Indiana's case identifier. The 66 prefix points to Pulaski County, while C01 or D01 identifies Circuit or Superior.

Disposition: The entered result or closing event. Its label should be read with the judgment or order.

Reset or continuance: A later event changing an earlier hearing setting. The newest confirmed setting controls.

Converted event: Information imported from an older case-management system, which may predate its Odyssey display.

Certified copy: A Clerk-authenticated copy that requires the direct Clerk process and applicable fee.

Case-type codes add another layer to a Pulaski County court docket. On the criminal side, CM means misdemeanor and F1 through F6 mark felony levels. Civil codes include CC for collection, CT for tort, PL for plenary, MF for mortgage foreclosure, EV for eviction, and SC for small claim. PO flags a protection-order matter. Those cases are not ordinary public MyCase results. Treat any code as a routing clue. It is not a full account of the dispute or its outcome. No official Pulaski-only docket abbreviation guide exists. So check short labels against the CCS, an attached order, the current Indiana code list, or a Clerk explanation. Guessing can turn a motion into a ruling. It can also turn an old setting into the date that now controls.
